Patients will need to wash or sanitize their hands upon arriving at the clinic.
RMT will wash their hands for 20-30 seconds before patient arrives, before and after treatment, after any potential contamination, after patient leaves, and both before and after cleaning routine.
Cancellation policy
Patient:
Must cancel if you have any symptoms of illness, especially if they are COVID-19 related.
There will be no fee for cancellation at the last minute due to illness or COVID-related symptoms.
No-show fee will still be applicable.
Therapist:
RMT has the right to cancel for the following reasons (as much notice as possible will be given):
Symptoms of respiratory illness.
Has recently been exposed to someone who suspects or is confirmed to have COVID-19.
Any previous patients have been confirmed with COVID-19.
Suspects malingering from a patient.
patient and therapist responsibilities
Patient:
Read the Return to Work Policies and Protocols (available online and in person in the clinic).
Arrive to your appointment alone, unless you require mobility or personal assistance, or are a minor accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Voice any questions or concerns to RMT.
Wear non-medical face mask (either fresh and clean cloth mask, or new disposable mask).
Cancel your appointment if you have any signs or symptoms of any illness, especially COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. As much notice as possible is appreciated, but the last-minute cancellation fee for illness-related cancellations is temporarily waived.
Place all your belongings in the sanitized plastic bin provided.
Therapist:
Follow the Return to Work Policies and Protocols.
Avoid use of medications that reduce fever (if unavoidable, therapist must wait 4 hours post-dose before taking and recording temperature).
Maintain sanitized environment.
Safe handling of all potentially contaminated surfaces or items.
If RMT becomes ill, or if a close contact or family member of the RMT becomes ill, therapist will cancel appointments (with as much notice as possible), and follow the instructions of health authorities (including, but not limited to, testing and self-isolation).

All non-essential items removed
Sealed and sanitized bin containing all items needed for one treatment. Patient will use the bin, once emptied, for their belonging during their appointment. After the appointment, bin will be used for all linens/items used during the treatment and sealed again until they are able to be washed/sanitized
Protective eyewear (sanitized) is available upon request.
Masks, tissues, gloves, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes available at all times.
